Mass communication out to patient panel through portal for a competitive advantage against MEDACCESS accounts

Fraser Medical, a MEDACCESS clinic, is currently integrated with Pomelo for their portal. Pomelo, is one of the standard portal integration partners with MEDACCESS and it allows for mass communication to all patients in a physician's panel through the portal or for all the patients in the clinic (for sending out messages, promotions, newsletters, educational pieces, etc). The clinic can send communications this way instead of having to send emails through a third party provider like Mailchimp (eliminating the need to have to always run a report of the most recent patients in a clinic, export the CSV file and upload to a program like Mailchimp, also allowing for a higher percentage of communications to get through (as email spam filters will often block mass communications). There is a problem with Pomelo however, in that if a doctor leaves the clinic and the patients are assigned to a different physician, there is not automated function in Pomelo to assign to the new physician and the clinic will have to manually assign each of the patients to the new physician in Pomelo which creates more work for the admin staff. Having this function in MYLE will give us a competitive advantage against MEDACCESS clinics. Over 30% of the B.C. market is with MEDACCESS. This is one of the critical functionalities that Fraser Medical is looking for. They are an early adopter clinic in Maple Ridge and have a lot of residents go through the clinic (so would help promote MYLE to new residents).
