Adding a button in the results tab that would give clinicians the option to file and share a result to the portal in one click.

Dr Kimberly Rutherford words her idea this way:

Current system to file: single click files and moves to next resultCurrent system to post to patient portal: click to portal button, load pop up box, second click to post (if not wishing to write a note), third click to 'file' and move to next

Proposed system:Another button that would allow a 'file and post to portal' in a single click - streamlining the above. If we get 80 results in a day, 80 clicks to file v 240 clicks to post to portal with loading pause for pop up, it is untenable. However, if we could single click to file and post this would not change the amount of work/clicks but improve patient experience.

I do like the portal button option for writing an accompanying note, but for 85% of results I just wish to post and not add a note so having this option would be great.

This would significantly reduce the number of calls staff get, the time I spend listening to patient concerns, on call phone calls, and also of course improve patient and provider satisfaction!
