Ability to prevent patients from booking two time slots one after the other on the Portal to have '' more time '' in their appointment Merged

The whistler360health clinic mentions:

'' Patients being able to book multiple appointments online – we have some patients booking two appointments back to back because it’s a good way to “get more time”. Are you working on changing this? ''.

Currently, patients can book availabilities one after the other in the portal is that's how the schedule has been open (no time in between appointments per example)


They would appreciate a blockage in the Portal that prevents patients from booking two time slots one after the other.

    Similarly, amc clinic would need this urgently as well. Patients are able to book two / more appointments for the same day with the same provider, whether it's one appointment right after the other or different times (i.e 9:00 AM appointment then a 9:15 appointment or 9:00 AM then 1:00 PM per example).

    Both clinic would appreciate a blockage on the Portal to REMOVE the ability to do this for all patients.


    Impact: Having two appointments for the same patient by the same provider requires the provider to bill differently then if they had only one visit on the books. This may impact the approbation of their claim by MSP which potentially prevents them from being paid.
