Request from BC: Option to block patients when they try to book a second appointment on the same day by Portal with a pop up and send an alert (pop up) to an user who's giving a second appointment on the same day

Users in BC don't want patients to have more than one appointment per day because they can only bill once.

They would like to have an option in ADMINISTRATION that they could activate to block patients for taking a second appointment on the same day by Portal with a pop up and send an alert (pop up) to an user who's giving a second appointment for a patient on the same day when they want to save the appointment in the CALENDAR tab or the patient file.

The user should have the option to cancel the action or continue if the first appointment was cancelled or, if the first appointment was already cancelled, not show the pop up. Only when the first appointment is still active.

For the patient, the pop up should say:

ATTENTION!

Patients are not authorized to book a second appointment on the same day

For users who book appointments, the pop up should say:

ATTENTION!

This patient already has an appointment on that day.

If the first appointment was cancelled, please click on Continue.

If not, please click on Cancel.
