Prescription error modification flexibility in Patient NOTEs

Client wishes to have more flexibility and option when a prescription has been made by error in a note.

1. – Affected user(s): Anyone who can prescribe medication

   – Task affected: Prescription medication

   – Impact : To have a clearer and more accurate Note (prescription section)

   – Current state If a medication was prescribed by error, there is no way to remove it from a note. Not even from the printable prescription page, the only thing we can do is null it/deactivate it in the prescription tab directly, but this does not reflect nor show any indication in the note itself where it was prescribed. Basically, if a batch of medication was prescribed at once and one of them was a mistake, the whole batch will be scrapped since printing or faxing it will always include the one medication that was there by mistake. Client wishes to at least have a more versatile way for correcting medication and have it more user-friendly.

PS; this can be very misleading as a whole as it create a situation where if anyone goes through notes, they cannot fully rely on the prescription section because the potential of a prescription being a mistake is always there since there is no indication of a prescription being invalid or marked as error or any indication in the note of the sort.

for ex. Misoprostol here is deactivated in the medication tab, but nothing you can do will remove it from the note and/or the printable prescription paper for fax/print
