LT Meds, even when expired, should always show for a couple of reasons.
First, it's an indicator for the physician to renew the patient's potentially life saving medication.
Second...other clinicians need to know that a patient is taking a long term med, especially if they're looking to prescribe other meds and need to be aware of dangerous interactions.
Currently, the Long-Term Medications do not show on all printouts, which is dangerous and inaccurate. Even if a medication is expired, if it is a long-term medication, anyone who views the medical summary for a patient should be made aware of it so that they can have a conversation with the patient about if they are still taking it, etc. and avoid prescribing something with harmful interactions.
