• Admins and supervisors responsible for overseeing clinical documentation and prescriptions

Task Affected:

• Supervision and validation of notes created via the medical summary (e.g., prescription actions)

Impact:

• Currently, the system can approve notes that were created through the medical summary with these titles, such as when generating prescriptions. This limits the ability of supervisors to ensure that all notes, including those tied to prescribing activity, are reviewed and approved by a qualified clinician.

Current State:

• There is no system-level enforcement preventing self-approval of notes created from the medical summary by interns, residents, or students
