Automatic Labelling of Addendums by Multiple Clinicians in Clinic Notes

Description : Add an automatic labelling feature that clearly identifies and timestamps any addendum made by a clinician other than the original author in a clinic note.

Affected user(s):

• Clinicians (including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals) who contribute to or review clinic notes.

Task affected:

• Creating / modifying notes in MYLE

Impact:

• The absence of clearly labelled addendums leads to confusion around who wrote what.

• Occurs frequently in team-based care environments.

Current state:

• Users manually enter identifiers (e.g., “NP amendment”) within the free text of the note to distinguish their input.

• There is no enforced or automated way to separate or label additional contributions.
