Add a new label similar to the “$” label but without the date and time fields

Description:

Request from Elysian to create a new label type identical to the current “$” label (which includes Name, Family Name, PHN, DOB, and Provider) but excluding the date and time stamp.

Affected user(s):
Clinic staff, mainly nurses and administrative personnel who prepare sample requisitions and distribute collection containers. The issue affects all staff involved in this process.

Task affected:
Occurs during the workflow of preparing requisitions and labels for specimen collection in MYLE. Staff often print labels in advance of collection, and the pre-printed date/time causes confusion or inaccuracies.

Impact:
This change would improve label accuracy and efficiency by eliminating the need to manually cross out or correct the date/time fields. It would save staff time and reduce labeling errors.

Current state:
Users currently rely on the “$” label, which automatically prints date and time, or use “Label A,” which lacks date/time but doesn’t fully meet their needs. Neither option is ideal.
