Currently MYLE labels medication in red in the CPP for medications with no renewals left. Since in BC and ON MDs don'don't ususe renewals they prescribe a medication for 90 or 360 days, MYLE only shows the prescribeedd duration and not the remaining days left. It poses 2 problems, the MDs have no visual cues when seeing the patient that a medication is about to expire and finally when prescribing a new medication they try to set the duration to the days left on the remaining medications on file so renewals of all the patient'patient's medications coincide.
