Impact
Providers currently receive notifications each time a partial update is added to a result (e.g., additional parameters, added notes, incremental updates). This can generate multiple notifications for the same result before it is finalized. As a result, physicians lose time clicking into the Results tab for items that are not yet complete, impacting workflow efficiency and increasing cognitive load.

Current state
Notifications are triggered whenever a result is updated, even if the result is not final. There is no configuration to notify only when the result status is final/complete.

Competition consideration
Other EMRs typically allow filtering or limiting notifications to final results only, reducing unnecessary interruptions and improving clinical workflow efficiency.
