Affected users: All Healthcare Professionals (Physicians, Nurses, Specialists) who receive and review diagnostic results within the MYLE platform.
Task affected: Occurs during the review and validation of laboratory and imaging results. Currently, patient photos are missing from both the global Results Inbox list and the individual result detail view.
Impact: High risk of clinical error. Without a visual identifier, professionals must rely solely on names and ID numbers, which increases the risk of confusing patients with similar or identical names. Adding the photo provides an immediate, subconscious confirmation of identity, improving patient safety and confidence during the validation process.
Current state: Users cannot see the patient's photo without navigating away from the Results tab and manually accessing the full patient chart. This extra step is often skipped in high-volume environments, leading to potential identification risks.
