Affected users: All MYLE users, particularly those managing chronic conditions or follow-up appointments (Physicians, Specialists, and Allied Health Professionals).
Task affected: Clinical documentation entry. Currently, when creating a new note, users must manually navigate back to previous entries to copy relevant history or ongoing plans.
Impact: High productivity gain. The current manual process requires 6+ clicks and constant context switching between the old and new note. Automating this via a "Create note from last entry" option would save several minutes per patient, reduce the risk of transcription errors, and significantly improve the user experience for less tech-savvy providers.
Current state: Users must manually open the previous note, select and copy text, navigate back to the current note, click "Modify," and paste the content into each relevant section. This is a repetitive and inefficient workflow.
Suggested implementation: A dropdown menu on the "Create Note" button or a "Copy Previous Note" action within the note editor itself.
