Impact: Occurs several times a month but can cause long-term scheduling errors. When a service is not locked at the administrative level, users can accidentally change portal availability or assignment rules during schedule creation. This leads to patients booking incorrect services online, requiring manual cancellations and complex troubleshooting.
Current state: Currently, settings chosen in "Services and Combos" can be modified downstream in the assignment templates. There is no way to "hard-code" a service's behavior (e.g., "Never on Portal") at the admin level to ensure it remains unchanged when staff are building schedules.
