Affected users: Physicians and healthcare providers generating patient recalls/follow-ups for billing and clinical tracking.
Task affected: COMMUNICATIONS module — Recall creation workflow. Specifically, when selecting relative date options (+1m, +2m, +3m, +6m, +12m) for a recall initiated on the 31st of any month.
Impact: Administrative friction and risk of billing claim rejections. Billing agencies require services/recalls to be billed on or after the eligible date. When MYLE defaults the calculated date to the 30th (for months with 30 days) instead of pushing to the 1st of the next month, billing claims are rejected, causing delays and forcing manual corrections.
Current state: Physicians must manually identify every recall created on the 31st of a month and manually adjust the calculated due date from the 30th to the 1st of the following month.
