Affected users: Administrative staff and Healthcare Professionals.
Task affected: Patients booking appointments via the Patient Portal, specifically at the availability selection step where the three standard icons (clinic address, time, medical bag) are displayed.
Impact: Occurs very frequently. Patients regularly arrive without the necessary information or prescriptions because they were not explicitly warned during the booking process. This causes significant delays and pushes back the entire daily schedule for the clinic.
Current state: There is no way for clinics to add custom warnings or requirements to the portal interface. Currently, staff must manually call the patients to inform them, cancel the invalid appointments, and reschedule them, which wastes a lot of administrative time.
