Outgoing Referrals Tracking

When a referral is created (via consult/exam request or FORM) there is no ONE place to store this information.

The user wants to know

• all the patient on the list, pending an appointment with [x] physician/facility

• all patient on the list, that have been contacted for their appointment

  • confirmed appt (date of contact)

  • cancelled (date of contact)

  • pending, etc (date of contact)

• date referral was created

• date referral was completed

• pertaining diagnosis / reason for referral

• ability to re-send the original referral back to the specialist

• ability to easily patient portal the appointment information to the patient

• updated statuses

  • Sent

  • Waitlist

  • Scheduled

  • PT Informed

  • PT Unreachable

FUTURE CONSIDERATION

• ability to bill a no charge referral directly from the last outgoing referral for [x] physician
