Current situation:
As of now, the only way for us to communicate system outages or slowness is through email to users or through our status page
Doctors don't take the time or have the reflex to look at their emails that often throughout the day
When MYLE goes through slowness or outages, most doctors will call their admin which in turns increases their workload and is counterproductive on both ends
Other EMR sales reps use our status page to show clinics when we have system outages or experience slowness which tarnishes our image
Users will call the Support to inquire or complain about system slowness or outages
Idea:
To have a status banner built within MYLE that will keep our users informed of the progress of an outage or a slowness within the software
This banner could have a green color when everything is running smoothly and red when we are experiencing an issue
This banner could be placed for users to explicitly see the message it carries on one of the top corner in MYLE
Benefits:
Greater transparency with our clients
Other EMR sales reps won't be able to use our status page to their advantage when meeting with clients anymore
Potential of reducing calls to our Support team concerning slowness and outages
Keep our clients informed at all time of progression of various statuses, therefore reducing the workload between departments within clinics
