DSQ [Patient Demographics] - Automatically import the patient's relations (such as parents to babies that get their RAMQ)

– Affected user(s): Requested by Dre Myriam Audette from GMF de Mascouche / Médi-Centre Mascouche). This could however improve the workflow of all DSQ users.

– Task affected: Synchronising a patient chart to the DSQ.

– Impact : Automatically importing the patient's parents (for instance) from the DSQ would allow for a quicker completion of the patient chart update.

– Current state After DSQ synchronisation, the user would then need to access the patient's history, then head to the patient's relations, click on add, enter information and select the type of relation, then click save and repeat the steps for the other parent. This is around ten clicks and text entry that could be automated to save time.

– Competition consideration: Client reports that Kinlogix used to do this.
