PORTAL [Appointments] - Put aside an availability for a set amount of time if it is currently being booked

– Affected user(s): Requested by Céline Leclerc from GMF L'Hêtrière, but could benefit all patients that book appointments through their patient portal.

– Task affected: Ebooking of appointments by patients through the portal

– Impact : We currently do not have a time for which an availability is reserved for the patient booking it. This leads to elderly patients and less computer litterate patients losing their appointment reservation as it is taken by someone else as they scheduling it.

– Current state : There is currently no work around for this.

– Competition consideration: Not quite competition consideration, but other ebooking platforms have a set amount of time during which the availability becomes unavailable if currently being booked by a patient.
