Task affected: Managing walk in appointments
Impact: It would allow more flexibility and more accurate information shared with the patients if such a queue would forgo the timeslots. Some walk in could be 5 minutes, others 10 minutes, and patient would receive a notification that they are 3 people ahead of them in the queue so they can prepare for their appointment.
Current state: Timeslots are restricting this system and the patient receives a notification that their appointment will be at a specific time, while the staff may be ready to see them earlier.
