Affected User(s):
Users who access the DSQ database from MYLE and retrieve prescriptions from the patient’s medication database.
Task Affected:
Keeping patient files up to date with accurate and current prescription information.
Impact:
When medications are modified by a pharmacist or another healthcare professional, those changes are not reflected in the system. This can result in outdated or incorrect information being used for patient care.
Current State:
Once a medication has been imported into the patient file, the system prevents re-importing it—even if changes have occurred. As a workaround, users must manually switch between the DSQ and MYLE to update the patient's active medication, increasing the risk of oversight and adding unnecessary steps.
Competition Consideration:

same issue, cannot update prescription or import new information, and import directly latest info in MYLE automatically

Exact same request but for RESULTS instead of Medication, currently if there is a revision of a result, there is no way to re-import it into MYLE, have to manually download/re-upload it.
