Task affected: AI consent form.
Impact: Right now, users have to ask for consent every time because the current form is too general, which slows things down. If we create a more specific form template that’s patient-directed, with auto-filled patient info and a signature box, it would save time in the long run. Once signed, the form could be stored directly in the patient’s file, so it doesn’t need to be completed again.
Current state: Users must request consent at every visit due to the general form, which creates unnecessary repetition.
Competition consideration: The client didn’t mention whether other systems offer this feature, so we don’t have that information.
Also, add a checkbox labeled "AI Consent" in the Patient Profile section. Once the form is signed, the user can check that box and save the change. A green check mark will appear next to the patient’s name if they agreed to the use of AI during their appointment, or a red X if they refused, allowing users to quickly confirm the patient’s consent status at a glance.
