Add a One-Click "Complete" Button Next to Appointments in the Calendar View to Streamline Status Updates.

Dr. Wang from Oasis likes to change the status of an appointment to "Completed" after finishing the consultation, charting, and billing the patient, to indicate that no further action is required for that specific appointment. However, he finds this task tedious, as it currently requires about four clicks. He would like to have a C / Complete button next to patient names in the calendar view in MYLE to quickly mark appointments as completed without navigating through multiple menus. He also notes that the COVID-19 mention in the appointment is now obsolete and would prefer to replace it with a clickable "C" icon that instantly updates the appointment status to "Completed"

Current state:

  • Users must:

    1. Click on the appointment in the calendar.

    2. Click on the dropdown menu State

    3. Select “Completed” to update the status.

    4. Click on Save.

  • The current process is considered tedious and time-consuming.

Competition consideration:
