All staff members work at clinics that use scheduling rules and book appointments from the Appointment section within patient files.
Task affected:
When the user booking the appointment selects the By Staff – Any option, they cannot see which service(s) are included in the scheduling rule and are able to select any service they have access to.
Impact:
Appointments being canceled
Patients arriving at the wrong location
Patients arriving in person when the health professional is working remotely that day
Rescheduling requirements
Health professionals needing to travel to the clinic unexpectedly, causing delays for other appointments
Current state:
When using the By Staff – Any option in patient files, there is no way to restrict booking to only the services included in the scheduling rule.
