Affected users: All users managing high volumes of incoming documents (40+ entries), specifically clinicians and administrative staff who need to triage and prioritize their workflow.
Task affected: Document management and review within the DOCUMENTS tab.
Impact: High. Users currently struggle to manage large influxes of documents, often losing track of urgent files among routine entries. This creates mental fatigue and forces users to rely on external, manual tracking methods (like paper notes), which increases the risk of missing critical follow-ups.
Current state: There is no way to virtually "tag" or "star" a document for immediate personal follow-up. Users must remember which entries are urgent or keep a separate list outside of MYLE.
Proposed Solution: Add a dedicated column for a visual indicator (e.g., a star or tag). Clicking this indicator should be user-specific (not visible to others) and should automatically move the tagged entry to the top of that user's list, overriding chronological sorting to ensure immediate visibility.
Competition consideration: This functionality mimics a popular feature in Kinlogix, which allowed for efficient personal triage of large document queues.
