Just as the results, it would be good to add the documents to a note. Even though its not granular, most doctors would like to add documents directly in the note instead of writing down : refer to doc dated....
No they often want a whole document in the note. It would help to be able to copy paste for some type of docs but not all of them. Sometimes they have spreadsheets to add and copy pasting isn't ideal.
This problem affects the medical staff wether its nurses or doctors or specialists at every clinics I have been to.
This problem occurs when a doctor wants to attach a result that is not received electronicaly (most hospital still sends them by fax and some results are never electronic), or a specialist consultation. For nurses, it often happens with diabetic patients because they give a form to the patient to fill out everyday with all their data and then they either scan it or have it sent back by email. They then attach it to the patients file but they would like to have it in the note directly because its relevant to the consultation and they see the patient for that specific reason every 2 weeks.
This idea saves time and clicks for the users because they dont have to open the note, then look at the date of the file, then got to the files and look for the document in particular and then come back to the note of the day.
Right now they usualy type: Refer to documents with the name of the document and the date. Its not ideal and it wastes a lot of time.
This would be either directly from the documents but also beeing able to import a doc when writing the note (also good for the results that can only be added when starting with the result in question)

Merci Justine, c'est très clair!
Quick question: is it because they can't copy/paste text from scanned documents?
