Affected user(s): Certain physicians want to make Reason for visit mandatory, others want it optional, others want it not required at all.
Task affected: Publishing appointments online
Impact: This impacts the physicians ability to prepare for a consultation, if they do not have the reason for visit. Whereas for certain physicians, they wish to remove the ability for a patient to disclose information about their health via the portal for liability reasons.
Current state: Some clinicians don't publish any appointments online
Also, some clinics would like the reason of consultation added by the patient to NOT be shown in the subject of the appointment as this makes it available for everyone. Physicians need the reason of consultation but don't want the entire clinic to see it.
Suggestion: to allow the clinic to choose to make the reason ''confidential'' if they don't want it shown in the subject of the appointment. An alternative would be to add it to the details of the appointment.
