Mass cancellation of appointments

  • Affected user(s): Clerical Staff

  • Task affected: MYLE Calendar, Cancelling Appointments

  • Impact: Depends on the provider, having to cancel appointments is common (~1-2 times a week, save ~5-7 minutes)

  • Current state: Currently, Clerical staff go into the appointment, change the status and Save

  • Competition consideration: Nava has a "Clear Calendar" CTA on the Calendar view, that starts a workflow to:

    • Select a Provider

    • Select a Date

    • Select All or a number of appointments booked

    • Input Cancellation Notes for patient notification

    • Send.

    • As a result, all relevant patients are notified at once, with the same Cancellation Note.
